Bluffton 2008

On this year’s team from Bluffton were Ted Habegger, Leon and Mary Gerber, Jean Neuenschwander, Rachel Neuenschwander, Brittany Isch, Wendy Neuenschwander, Kris Gerber, Lance Fiechter, Timothy Pfister, Lynn Fiechter, and Justin Grube. They all arrived safely, but with no luggage, (and Mary with out her carry-on) on December 5^th. They put up with it fine, though, and left for Ducis the next day. As the luggage came, three and four bags at a time, Mom took it out to them, because it was a fairly short drive. The roof went up well, and the benches were made in good time, and every thing but the suitcases went according to plan. They all spent one night back at the Guest House before heading out to Aquin. They were again blessed with a short, smooth drive, and also made good time, with no major injuries, and stopped at the beach on their way back to Cayes. On the 12^th, everyone but Leon and Mary Gerber, Lance Fiechter, and Justin Grube left for the States. The remaining four stayed for another week to help with much appreciated maintenance and miscellaneous jobs around the compound, and then left on the 20^th.
